Nachtaktief, sound installation
Three white pillars stand in a gallery space, on top of each one is an electronic device attached to a loudspeaker. A small plaque explains that the objects switch on at dusk, each one producing a distinctive sound, stopping once more as the sun rises. Visitors are initially disappointed once they realize they will not be able to hear the sounds, but then become intrigued as they imagine the textures of sound produced at night.
